Manchester United Falls to Wrexham in Pre-Season Opener

In their first pre-season match, Manchester United faced Wrexham and suffered a 1-0 defeat. The match took place at the Olympic Stadium, where 20,000 spectators were present.

Wrexham took the lead in the 39th minute when Sam Smith scored after a cross found him at the far post. Manchester United fielded an experienced side, including Harry Maguire and new £50 million signing Andrei Santos, who made his debut.

Bryan Mbeumo led the attack, and Mason Mount was also part of the midfield. The first half saw Manchester United almost concede an own goal in the 38th minute.
