APC Chieftain Osinowo Labels Bwala a "Staunch Liar"

Ibrahim Osinowo, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), publicly condemned Daniel Bwala, describing him as a "staunch liar" and an "image destroyer." This statement came in response to backlash Bwala faced following an interview with Al Jazeera journalist Mehdi Hasan. Osinowo asserted that Bwala does not speak for the Nigerian government, clarifying that the official spokesperson is Bayo Onanuga, who serves as the special adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He argued that Bwala's comments do not reflect the government's position and that official communications are subject to Onanuga's approval. Osinowo accused Bwala of attempting to gain national prominence and insisted that Nigerians should recognize the official channels of government communication.
