Datti Baba-Ahmed Explains Refusal to Join ADC

Datti Baba-Ahmed, the former vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), addressed the backlash regarding his decision not to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC). In a television interview, he acknowledged that many people took his decision personally and felt the need to clarify his reasons.

Baba-Ahmed stated that his choice was based on his own political plans and was not meant to offend any members of the ADC. He emphasized that political decisions are often complicated and influenced by various factors, which may not always be visible to the public.

Additionally, he mentioned plans to leave the Labour Party and join the People's Redemption Party (PRP) due to internal disagreements within the LP that diverged from its original ideals.
