Marafa Becomes NDC Governorship Candidate in Zamfara

Senator Kabiru Marafa has been announced as the governorship candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Zamfara State for the upcoming 2027 elections. This announcement was made during a meeting held in Gusau, the state capital, officiated by Aminu Jelani, the chairman of the party's electoral committee.

Marafa expressed gratitude to party members for their support and promised to provide responsible leadership if elected. He emphasized his commitment to combat corruption, enhance development in Zamfara, and promote accountability and prudent management of public funds.

Marafa, who recently joined the NDC after leaving the African Democratic Congress (ADC), stated that he aims to improve the living standards of residents and provide equal opportunities for all people across the state. He also noted that his leadership would focus on strengthening the NDC's activities in Zamfara State, as confirmed by party leader Seriake Dickson.
