ADC Forms 126-Member Committee for National Convention

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), led by David Mark, has announced the formation of a 126-member national convention committee, with Sen. Liyel Imoke appointed as chair.

The committee also includes Sen. Aminu Tambuw and Dr.

Ajuji Ahm as secretaries. This development comes despite the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) advising the party against holding congresses due to leadership disputes.

Hon. Chinedu Idigo serves as the national organizing secretary, while Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi is the national public secretary.

The committee is tasked with overseeing various sub-committees, including those focused on venue, security, finance, media, and logistics for the convention scheduled for April 14, 2026. The constitutional committee aims to ensure a coordinated, transparent, and credible convention process, reflecting an inclusive approach to party administration.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to stabilize the party's internal structure and enhance its national appeal.
