NDLEA Raid on Bonny Island Leads to Arrests and Officer's Death

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) carried out a raid on Bonny Island in River State, Nigeria, targeting a notorious drug enclave known as Ama Hausa. During the operation, six suspects were arrested, and a significant cache of illicit substances, including cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine, was seized.

Chief Narcotic Agent Sadiq Bako Mujahid lost his life due to severe head injuries sustained when drug dealers mobilized armed hoodlums to resist the raid. Despite the violent attack, NDLEA operatives managed to apprehend the suspects, including gang leader Genesis Georg Benson.
