MATAN Launches Digital Food Security Initiative to Tackle Hunger and Insecurity

MATAN, in collaboration with the Food Bank Professional Association Nigeria, introduces a digital food security initiative in Nigeria to address hunger and insecurity. The program aims to revolutionize the food system by utilizing modern technology for tracking, distribution, and delivery of food products.

With a focus on grassroots rebuilding, the initiative includes a comprehensive framework and a multipurpose digital food security identification card system. The project seeks to enhance transparency, efficiency, and target food distribution while eliminating chaotic queues.

MATAN plans to engage large-scale farmers and implement street-level feeding machines to ensure a sustainable food supply across the country.
