Sundiata Post Model Transforms Newsrooms into Knowledge Hubs

Dr. Max Amuchie, Chief Executive Officer and theorist at Sundiata Post, announced the launch of the Sundiata Post Model, which aims to reimagine newsrooms as knowledge institutions.

This initiative is designed to establish an independent African newsroom framework capable of producing genuine knowledge within the global information research ecosystem. The model seeks to address the challenges faced by journalism in the 21st century, emphasizing the need for newsrooms to generate original analytical constructs that contribute to scholarly policy discourse.

Over a three-month period, the model developed three macro theoretical constructs: the Insecurity Triad, the Trinitarian State Decay, and the Decoupling Sovereignty Index. The Sundiata Post Model aims to demonstrate that independent newsrooms can function as credible knowledge institutions and insists that journalistic knowledge products should not exist in isolation from academic research.

This initiative also includes the establishment of the Sundiata Post Intelligence Unit (SPIU) to engage in scholarly repositories and participate in international research networks.
