Real Madrid Confident Kylian Mbappé Will Win Ballon d'Or

Real Madrid's dressing room reportedly believes that Kylian Mbappé will win the 2026 men's Ballon d'Or, just hours before the winner is to be announced at a ceremony in London. This speculation follows Mbappé's impressive performances for Real Madrid and the French national team.

Reports from The Athletic indicate that confidence has grown within the team that Mbappé will outshine other contenders, including Bayern Munich's Harry Kane and Barcelona's Lamine Yamal. Despite this confidence, there has been no independent confirmation of Mbappé's victory, as the organizers have maintained secrecy regarding the results.

The 70th Ballon d'Or ceremony is scheduled for October 26 at the London Palladium. Real Madrid's belief in Mbappé's chances has intensified after he scored twice in a recent El Clásico against Barcelona, contributing to a 2-1 victory.

The voting process for the award considers individual statistics, team achievements, and fair play, making the reported confidence an expectation rather than confirmation.
