15 Candidates Compete in Osun Governorship Election

The upcoming Osun State governorship election includes 15 candidates representing various political parties, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission. A total of 2,339,233 residents are registered to vote in this election.

The leading candidate is incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is running under the Accord Party. His primary opponent is Bola Oyebamiji from the All Progressives Congress.

Other notable candidates include Najeem Salaam from the African Democratic Congress, Farinloye Olarenwaju of the Action Alliance, and Esan Olajide representing the African Action Congress. Additional candidates are Adeagbo Opawoye (African Democratic Party), Mustapha Adeniyi (Social Democratic Party), Adesina Aseyemi-Doro (All Progressives Grand Alliance), Adewale Adebayo (Allied People Movement), Clement Adesuyi (Action Peoples Party), Masilo Adeleke (Boot Party), Taofeek Adeleke (New Nigeria Peoples Party), Saliu Oyelami (Peoples Redemption Party), Ogunsakin Olalekan (Young Progressives Party), and Adefemi Adesuyi (Zenith Labour Party).
