Mercedes-Benz Files Complaint Against Victor Osimhen

Mercedes-Benz has lodged a complaint with the Carabinieri against Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen for allegedly failing to complete payments on a car lease. Reports indicate that Osimhen, who is currently a prominent forward in Serie A with Napoli and has recently moved to Galatasaray, has accumulated an outstanding debt of approximately €90,000 (around 142 million Naira).

This amount is considered modest compared to his reported annual salary of €20 million, making him the highest-paid player in the Turkish top flight. The complaint arises from claims that Osimhen did not return the leased vehicle after purchasing it completely.

Known for his luxurious lifestyle, Osimhen has been seen with a collection of high-end cars, including a Lamborghini and a Rolls Royce. The report from Italian outlet Napolista highlights the legal troubles facing the player amidst his successful career, including leading Napoli to its first Scudetto in nearly 40 years.
