Military Airstrikes Target Boko Haram in Sambisa Forest

On March 20, 2023, military airstrikes executed by the Air Component Oper Hadin Kai successfully targeted Boko Haram terrorists in the Sambisa Forest area of Borno State. Sources indicated that credible intelligence revealed the presence of insurgents around the Parisu Axis within the forest.

At approximately 9:00 PM, air assets were deployed to conduct reconnaissance and interdict suspected locations. Upon arrival, the aircrew established visual contact with the terrorists engaged in movement within the area.

Surveillance revealed the insurgents' tactical convergence around concealed structures. The aircrew maintained persistent surveillance and executed precise strikes, resulting in the destruction of structures and the neutralization of multiple terrorists.
