Military Rescues Amina Abubakar, Offers Condolences

The Nigerian military successfully rescued Amina Abubakar, the widow of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar, who was abducted alongside her husband by bandits in Katsina State. The operation, led by Major General Samaila Uba, followed an intensified search and offensive against criminal elements in the area.

Amina was found after two weeks in captivity, during which her husband died due to complications from diabetes and hypertension. The military engaged bandits in Tunga Village, leading to Amina's recovery, where she received immediate medical attention.

Major General M. Abdullahi, along with a delegation from the Armed Forces, paid a condolence visit to the Abubakar family, emphasizing the military's commitment to ensuring justice for the late general's death.

The military continues operations to track down the perpetrators responsible for the abduction and to enhance security in Katsina State.
