Minister Ibrahim Advocates for Inclusive Social Protection

Minister Sulaiman Ibrahim has urged for stronger collaboration to enhance inclusive social protection in Nigeria, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. During a stakeholder engagement in Abuja, Ibrahim emphasized the strategic role of local government councils in identifying vulnerable households and mobilizing community support, particularly focusing on women.

He highlighted the Renewed Hope Social Impact Intervention, a flagship program aimed at empowering women and vulnerable groups across Nigeria's 774 local government areas. Ibrahim stressed the importance of credible community-based data collection for the National Social Safety Net Project and urged local government chairmen to intensify efforts in enrolling vulnerable individuals, especially women, persons living with disabilities, and marginalized groups.

He also called for support for the National Women Mega Empower Rally, initiated by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, which aims to promote women's empowerment and social protection, ultimately strengthening families and communities across Nigeria.
