Minister Advocates Unity for Zamfara's Development

On a recent advocacy visit to Abuja, the Minister of Defence, Queeneth Iheoma Hart, met with a delegation from the Zamfara State chapter of the Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI). The meeting aimed to emphasize the need for cooperation among leaders, policymakers, professionals, and citizens to tackle issues impacting Zamfara's development, security, and social progress.

Dr. Matawal, a former governor of Zamfara State and a member of the Federal Executive Council, urged stakeholders to work collaboratively beyond their differences to build a stronger state.

Minister Hart stressed that cooperation across sectors is essential for sustained progress and that collective efforts are required to advance Zamfara and the nation. Muhammad Isah, the chairman of the AANI Zamfara chapter, acknowledged the minister's leadership experience and sought guidance for the upcoming summit scheduled for July 2026, which aims to bring together leaders and stakeholders to discuss critical issues affecting the state's economy and security.
