Ministers' Wives Forum Enhances Zuba Hospital Facilities

The Nigeria Ministers' Wives Forum, under the leadership of Vice Chairman Mr. Azeezat Alausa, has undertaken a refurbishment project at Zuba Hospital located on the outskirts of Abuja.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen healthcare delivery across the territory. The refurbishment includes upgrading critical areas such as the theatre, doctor's call room, and toilets to meet required standards.

The forum, inspired by the intervention of First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, aims to improve medical facilities and support healthcare professionals. During the month of Ramadan, the forum also distributed food items to 300 women and provided bedsheets and blankets to the hospital.

Mr. Bilikisu Kyari, wife of the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, emphasized the importance of enhancing operational efficiency in hospitals to improve working conditions for medical personnel and the quality of care for patients.

Dr. Adedolapo Fasaw, the Secretary of the FCT Health Environment Secretariat, commended the forum's commitment to social welfare, particularly in the health sector.
