Quantu Medic Foundation Trains Abia Health Personnel

Quantu Medic Foundation, a US-based non-profit organization, has initiated a week-long training program for health personnel in Abia State, Nigeria, from April 14 to April 23, 2026. This program, part of the Abia Health Care Reform Initiative (AHCRI), aims to transform the healthcare delivery culture in the state.

Dr. Nnenna Ihekoromadu, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Quantu Medic Foundation, leads the training, which combines leadership engagement and basic life support training.

The program is designed to empower healthcare workers, enhance patient safety, and strengthen emergency response systems. It involves collaboration with the Abia State Ministry of Health and aims to create a scalable model for healthcare delivery across additional hospitals in the state.

The training has already seen 60 nurses and doctors trained in basic life support, focusing on real-time patient care and effective teamwork to improve patient experiences in hospitals, including Abia Specialist Hospital and Umuahia General Hospital.
