Lagos Weather Forecast: Sunny with Late Cloud Build-Up

The Lagos State Ministry of Environment has projected a sunny afternoon for Lagos, with a late build-up of clouds and a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms. The temperature is expected to range between 27°C and 31°C throughout the day.

The ministry noted that the weather conditions will be predominantly partly cloudy in the morning and early afternoon, with a low probability of isolated thunderstorms developing later in the day, particularly in areas such as Ikorodu, Alimosho, and Agege. Light to moderate southwesterly winds are anticipated to prevail throughout the day.

The ministry also mentioned that Lagos is gradually transitioning into the rainy season, which may occasionally bring brief cloud formations and isolated thunderstorms, although rainfall coverage is expected to remain minimal. Residents are advised to stay aware of evolving weather conditions as the season transitions.
