Minnesota United Addresses Health Concerns for James Rodriguez

Minnesota United has firmly rejected health fears surrounding James Rodriguez after he spent three days in the hospital for observation. The concerns arose when the 34-year-old midfielder showed signs of illness during Colombia's 3-1 defeat to France on March 29.

Following this, he was admitted to the hospital, prompting speculation in U.S. media that he might be suffering from rhabdomyolysis, a rare condition associated with extreme physical exertion that can damage the kidneys. The Colombian Football Federation confirmed that Rodriguez's condition was being monitored.

However, Minnesota United issued a statement clarifying that he participated in a supervised return to training activities, with a full comeback planned under careful management by the medical staff. Rodriguez, who joined the Major League Soccer side in February, has made two appearances so far this season, but there is no fixed timeline for his return to full training.
