Mob Lynches Two Suspected Phone Snatchers in Kano

In Kano, two young men, suspected of being phone snatchers, were lynched by a mob following an incident where they allegedly attacked a girl and a male passerby. The suspects, reportedly armed with a sharp knife, attempted to seize a phone from the girl, which led to a confrontation with nearby passersby.

The situation escalated as the suspects provoked anger among the crowd, daring anyone to challenge them. This was not the first incident of phone snatching in the area, and the public's frustration boiled over when the two boys seized the phone.

Witnesses reported that the mob descended upon the suspects, beating them until they were unconscious. They were later taken to the hospital but had sustained severe injuries, with visible blood on their faces and bodies.

The suspects appeared to be around 20 years old.
