Traditional Ruler Urges Tinubu to Release Nnamdi Kanu

Dr. Lawrence Agubuzu, a traditional ruler from the Olo Kingdom, has publicly demanded the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

This appeal was made during the 2026 National Traditional Religious Leaders Summit held at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja. Agubuzu urged President Bola Tinubu to grant Kanu his freedom and facilitate his return to Kenya.
