Moniepoint Launches Second DreamDevs Bootcamp for Engineers

Moniepoint Inc., a leading digital financial services provider in Africa, has officially commenced the second cohort of its DreamDevs Bootcamp, part of its flagship DreamDev initiative. This program aims to bridge the tech talent gap in Africa by equipping recent graduates with industry-ready skills and real-world experience.

The bootcamp will select 20 high-potential engineering graduates through a rigorous multi-stage screening process that attracted 9,000 applicants. The selected candidates will undergo a nine-week intensive program focusing on core engineering competencies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, OOP, data structures, algorithms, and cloud infrastructure.

Participants will also gain exposure to Moniepoint's engineering environment and engage with the intern team. At the end of the bootcamp, the strongest candidates will secure six-month internship placements, with the potential for full-time employment.

Felix Ik, co-founder and CTO of Moniepoint, emphasized the program's alignment with the company's vision to harness technology for financial empowerment across Africa.
