Moniepoint Empowers Women in Tech at Lagos Event

Moniepoint partnered with GDG Lagos and Women Techmakers to empower women in technology through an event held at Moniepoint's headquarters in Lagos. The event, themed "Break the Pattern," featured a keynote address by Kemi Nwogu, Head of Product at Moniepoint, who emphasized the need for women to reshape the tech industry.

Nwogu called for action, urging attendees to move beyond traditional career paths and to take ownership of their roles in technology. The event included panel discussions and workshops led by industry leaders, such as Taiwo Famakin, Chukwu Adaez, Chineny Ogbu, and Motunrayo Koyejo, focusing on navigating the tech landscape and dismantling traditional leadership archetypes.

Participants engaged in hands-on workshops to develop software products, demonstrating that women can effectively contribute to the tech ecosystem.
