Monimichelle Boss Dedicates Award to Bayelsa Governor

Ebi Ezekiel Egb, the Chief Executive Officer of Monimichelle Sports Facility, dedicated the City People Award to Douye Diri, the Governor of Bayelsa State, during a ceremony where he was honored as a guest. Egb highlighted the transformative changes Diri has brought to the state, particularly in developing quality road networks and improving living conditions.

Egb, who holds a CAF and FIFA certified groundsman license and has overseen the construction of at least 15 stadiums across Nigeria, expressed pride in dedicating the award to his home state. Additionally, he announced his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives for the Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections under the APC.

Egb emphasized the importance of addressing the needs of the people and the impact of policy changes on Nigerian sports.
