Super Falcons Prepare for Friendlies Against Cameroon

The Super Falcons, Nigeria's senior women's national football team, have commenced their preparations for two international friendly matches against the Cameroon Lionesses, scheduled for February 28 and March 3, 2026, at the Military Stadium in Yaoundé. Captain Rasheedat Ajibade leads a squad of 16 players currently at the Hilton Hotel in Yaoundé.

This training is crucial as the team aims to achieve optimal form ahead of the 14th Women Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Morocco from March 17 to April 3, 2026. Nigeria, a ten-time champion, is placed in Group C alongside Zambia, Egypt, and debutants Malawi, with their first match against Malawi on March 18 in Casablanca.

The team is also preparing to face Cameroon, who will compete in Group D against Ghana, Mali, and Cape Verde. The Super Falcons are expected to train at the Stade Omnisport Ahmadu Ahidjo Annex on Thursday evening.
