Nigeria's Super Falcons Announce Squad for Cameroon Friendly

The Super Falcons of Nigeria, under the leadership of head coach Justin Madugu, have announced a 25-player roster in preparation for a friendly match against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon. This match is part of the final phase of preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), scheduled to take place in Morocco.

The friendly is set for a doubleheader on Saturday, February 28, and Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Cameroonian capital, Yaoundé. Notably, six-time African Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, has been omitted from the squad, with no official reason provided for her absence.

The team will be led by captain Rasheedat Ajibade and features world-class goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozi, showcasing a blend of veteran experience and emerging talent as they aim to defend their title as ten-time African champions.
