Mother of Eight Welcomes Quintuplets in Kano

In Kano, a mother of eight successfully gave birth to quintuplets, consisting of three boys and two girls, around 2:00 PM on Wednesday. The father, Malam Salisu Nafiu, a tricycle rider, expressed gratitude to God for the safe delivery of his wife and newborns.

This marks the mother's ninth delivery, and medical personnel at the hospital provided special attention to ensure the well-being of both the mother and her newborns. The Kano State government, represented by Nabilusi Abubakar Kofar Na Isa from the Ministry of Health, announced its commitment to fully support healthcare for the mother and her quintuplets.

This initiative is part of the government's broader efforts to strengthen maternal and child healthcare in the state and reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. The government remains dedicated to supporting vulnerable families and ensuring access to quality healthcare across Kano State.
