Motor World Nigeria Marks 30 Years in Automotive Industry

Motor World Nigeria is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary on June 4, 2026, with a grand event at the MUSON Centre in Lagos. This milestone will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, diplomats, and innovators to honor the impact of the publication over three decades.

Founded on June 12, 1996, Motor World began as a radio magazine program and has since evolved into a multi-platform voice advocating for the growth of Nigeria's automotive industry. Femi Owoey, the publisher and CEO of Motor World, emphasized the publication's role in shaping regulatory frameworks and supporting local product development.

The anniversary celebration will include the unveiling of a special edition of the Motor World magazine, highlighting the evolution of Nigeria's automotive sector. Key attendees will include Dr.

Jumoke Oduwole, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, and representatives from the NADDC. The event aims to reflect on past achievements while setting the stage for the future of the automotive industry in Nigeria.
