MTWI Empowers 18 Women with AI Digital Skills

MTWI Financial Services Nigeria has empowered 18 Nigerian women with digital skills in artificial intelligence (AI) to enable them to earn foreign currency. The initiative, announced by CEO Ifeoluwa Adegoke in a press statement on Tuesday, aims to address economic pressures and reshape financial realities for women, allowing them to achieve financial autonomy.

This program, which coincides with International Women's Day 2026, is a partnership with ALX, a technology skills platform focused on digital empowerment. The training equips women with skills to work as freelancers or virtual assistants, leveraging AI tools to deliver high-value work without geographical limitations.

Adegoke emphasized that this initiative goes beyond skill acquisition; it empowers women to navigate the global economy independently, breaking down barriers and creating opportunities in a digitized world. The program aims to close the gender gap in economic participation and foster inclusivity in the digital economy.
