MultiChoice Nigeria Launches New DStv, GOtv Packages at N6,000
MultiChoice Nigeria is set to introduce new DStv and GOtv packages beginning November 5, with subscription prices starting at N6,000 monthly. This initiative aims to attract budget-conscious viewers as the pay-TV operator faces rising competition from streaming services.
The revised DStv lineup will include the Starter, Select, Sports, and Premium packages, while GOtv will offer Easy, Starter, Select, and Sports options. The N6,000 Starter package will feature Africa Magic+ and selected football matches.
The N11,000 Select tier will include films, series, children's programmes, and selected sports. The N21,000 Sports package will provide access to all Premier League and UEFA Champions League matches, as well as WWE and UFC events.
Premium subscribers will receive additional coverage of Formula 1, tennis, golf, and other competitions. Kemi Omotosho, chief executive of MultiChoice Nigeria, stated that these changes are intended to enhance value for subscribers.
