FFK's Germany Rejection Claims Debunked by MUSRIC

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) issued a statement debunking reports that Chief Femi Fani-Kayode was rejected by Germany for the ambassadorial position. The Executive Director of the organization, Professor Ishaq Akintola, clarified that Fani-Kayode was initially assigned to Germany but was redeployed to South Africa at his request.

This statement followed media reports that misrepresented the situation, suggesting that Fani-Kayode's assignment to South Africa was due to a rejection from Germany. Muric expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for accommodating Fani-Kayode's request, affirming his qualifications as a brilliant lawyer and a dedicated patriot.

The organization highlighted Fani-Kayode's readiness to serve Nigeria and his commitment to fostering unity among Nigeria's diverse religious communities.
