Plateau Governor Vows Security Crackdown After Killings

Following a deadly attack in Dorowa Babuj, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, which claimed the lives of at least ten innocent people, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has directed security agencies to intensify operations to apprehend those responsible. The victims were laid to rest in a mass burial ceremony on Tuesday, which was attended by grieving family members, community leaders, and religious figures.
