Mutfwang's Birthday: Education and Infrastructure Revamp

On the occasion of his 61st birthday, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State reaffirmed his commitment to revamping the education sector, improving water supply, and enhancing infrastructure. He highlighted the importance of education, particularly at the primary level, as a transformative power for the state.

Mutfwang's administration has made unprecedented investments in education, with a focus on providing conducive learning environments and restoring public confidence in schools. Key initiatives include the distribution of teaching and learning materials, construction and renovation of classrooms, and provision of boreholes for clean water.

His government has accessed counterpart funding from the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) for various projects, including the construction of 397 classrooms and the distribution of educational supplies such as textbooks and school bags. Mutfwang aims to ensure that public schools become the first choice for parents, emphasizing a vision of quality education and improved living standards for the people of Plateau State.
