Titi Abubakar Promotes Atiku as 2027 Presidential Candidate

Titi Abubakar, the wife of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), spoke at the ADC All Support Groups Town Hall Meeting in Abuja on Thursday. She characterized her husband as a "sellable material," an experienced politician, and a philanthropist who would not misappropriate public funds if elected President in the 2027 election.

Titi expressed confidence that Atiku would be so effective that Nigerians would desire him to serve a second term after his initial four-year term. She emphasized Atiku's integrity, stating he is not seeking office for personal enrichment but to enhance the lives of Nigerians.

Titi also encouraged the youth to safeguard their votes and resist monetary inducements from politicians during elections, asserting that the ADC lacks the funds to bribe voters. Criticizing the current state of the country, she lamented the economy's decline and the absence of a functioning constitution and rule of law, stating, "Our economy is in shambles.".
