NLC Urges Review of N70,000 Minimum Wage as Imo State Implements Increase

Following several states' increases in minimum wage, the NLC is urging the federal government to urgently review the national minimum wage.

Notably, Imo State recently raised its minimum wage, with Governor Hope Uzodinma emphasizing the importance of improving workers' welfare. The NLC argues that the current minimum wage is no longer sufficient to meet essential needs.
