Kudiwave Protests PalmPay Over N750m Fund Dispute

Kudiwave Technologies Limited protested at PalmPay's Opebi Road office in Lagos over a N750.36 million dispute. The funds were debited from Kudiwave's PalmPay settlement account on July 15, 2026, two days after the company challenged a Federal High Court order that had been obtained by the Nigeria Police Force.

This order directed PalmPay to transfer the funds to the Police Exhibit Account. Kudiwave's Company Secretary, Prince Oko Kalu, stated that the transfer occurred while their challenge was pending.

The court later vacated the June 29 order on July 22, 2026, and lifted restrictions on Kudiwave's account. Kudiwave demands the immediate return of the funds, along with 21% annual interest from the date of transfer, and seeks details about the beneficiary of the transfer.

PalmPay maintains that it acted in compliance with the original court order, which was valid at the time of the transfer.
