NABTEB Extends 2026 Technical College Entrance Registration Deadline

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced an extension of the registration timeline for the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination for Technical Colleges. The move aims to alleviate pressure on candidates, parents, and schools.

The registration period, approved by the board, will span four months, starting from January 26 and closing on May 24. The exam is scheduled to be conducted nationwide on June 6.

The decision to extend the registration window is intended to reduce the usual rush associated with the registration exercise and lessen the financial and logistical burden on families. NABTEB's Registrar and Chief Executive emphasized the importance of strengthening the board's administrative and technological infrastructure to ensure a smooth and user-friendly registration process.

Prospective candidates were urged to register through the official NABTEB online portal and cautioned against using unauthorized agents or third-party platforms.
