NABTEB Extends Registration Deadline for 2026 NCEE to Ease Pressure on Candidates

The National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) has announced an extension of the registration timeline for the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE). Dr.

Aminu Moham, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, revealed that the registration window will now open on January 26 and close on May 24, with the exam set to take place nationwide on June 6. This decision aims to alleviate pressure on candidates and families by providing a four-month registration period.

Dr. Tunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, approved this extension to allow for adequate preparation and reduce congestion on the registration platform.

NABTEB assures stakeholders of a seamless and stress-free registration process, emphasizing the importance of using only the official NABTEB portal for registration to avoid unauthorized agents or third-party platforms. The board is committed to promoting technical and vocational education to equip young people with practical skills for national development and economic self-reliance.
