NABTEB Releases 2025 Nov/Dec Exam Results with Increased Enrollment and Pass Rates
The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced the release of the 2025 Nov/Dec NBC, NTC, and Advanced Certificate results. Dr. Aminu Moham, the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, disclosed that 61,591 candidates sat for the exams, with a 60% pass rate achieving five credits or more, including English Language and Mathematics.
The exams saw a 28.42% increase in enrollment compared to 2024, with 2,079 centers conducting the exams nationwide. Pass rates varied across trade categories, with construction trade recording a 79.32% pass rate, engineering trade at 76.84%, miscellaneous trade at 77%, and business trade at 52.07%.
Additionally, 57.32% of candidates were certified as craftsmen, while 56.52% qualified as master craftsmen. The exams also revealed a decrease in exam malpractice cases, with only 0.42% of candidates involved.
NABTEB is set to conduct the 2026 National Common Entrance Exam for Technical Colleges on June 6, 2026.
