NACCIMA and GIZ Collaborate to Boost Cross-Border Trade in Agriculture

The Nigerian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA) partners with the German agency GIZ to launch the ECOWAS Agriculture Trade Program. This initiative focuses on strengthening the agricultural market in the ECOWAS region to drive food security and prosperity.

NACCIMA's President, Jani Ibrahim, highlights the critical role of agriculture in Nigeria's economy, despite the sector's modest export earnings. The project aims to address trade barriers, enhance export competitiveness, and empower SMEs within the agricultural value chain.
