NACETEM Hosts STI Indicator Dashboard Version 3.0

The National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM) under the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Technology recently launched the Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) Indicator Dashboard Version 3.0. The dashboard, hosted on the Startplanet cloud, aims to enhance Nigeria's ability to assess and analyze STI indicators in comparison to global benchmarks like the World Bank and UNESCO.

The launch was accompanied by a sensitization workshop in Abuja, where stakeholders discussed the importance of the dashboard in informing STI policy development and implementation. NACETEM emphasized the need for collaboration to strengthen and sustain STI data collection.

The dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of Nigeria's STI performance and is seen as a valuable resource for guiding policy decisions in the field. The initiative was praised by the director general of the Nigerian Institute for Trypanosomiasis and Onchocerciasis Research for its role in advancing data accessibility and informed decision-making in Nigeria's development strategy.
