NAF Destroys Four Terrorist Gun Trucks in Sambisa Forest

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) conducted a successful air interdiction operation in Sambisa Forest, Borno State, destroying four terrorists' gun trucks and several logistical assets. This operation was part of the ongoing efforts under the Joint Task Force North East, specifically Operation Hadin Kai, aimed at targeting hostile elements in the region.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam stated that the strike was executed based on credible intelligence and was intended to disrupt terrorist operations, demonstrating the effectiveness of intelligence-driven air power in counter-terrorism efforts. Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Kelvin Anek, reaffirmed NAF's commitment to maintaining pressure on terrorist groups to deny them the ability to operate freely.

Additionally, Air Vice Marshal P.N. Amadi visited NAF base in Maiduguri on March 11, 2026, to assess operational readiness and emphasize the importance of sustained air presence in support of joint forces.
