NAF Airstrikes Dismantle Terrorist Command in Sambisa

On February 28, 2026, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) conducted precise airstrikes in Sambisa Forest, Borno State, targeting a stronghold of insurgents. According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, the operation was based on detailed intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions that confirmed the presence of structures serving as command hideouts and logistic depots for terrorist leaders.

The airstrikes successfully engaged and destroyed key facilities, dismantling a critical command and control hub.
