Nigerian Army Kills Senior Boko Haram Commander in Sambisa Forest Operation

The Nigerian Army conducted a successful operation in Sambisa Forest, neutralizing a senior Boko Haram commander, Abu Khalid, and 10 other terrorists. The operation, carried out by the Joint Task Force in the North East, specifically Operation Hadin Kai, resulted in the elimination of the notorious Boko Haram and ISWAP commander.

Troops engaged in a night operation in the Konduga local government area, recovering five AK-47 rifles, magazines, bicycles, logistics, food items, and medical supplies. No casualties were reported among the troops during the operation.

The military high command commended the troops for their dedication in the fight against terrorism and urged them to sustain the operational momentum until all terrorist elements are neutralized, ensuring peace and economic stability in the region.
