NAF Airstrikes Successfully Neutralize Terrorists in North East

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) conducted successful airstrikes against terrorists in the North East on June 18-19, 2026. These operations were led by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, the Director of Public Relations and Information for the NAF.

The strikes targeted identified terrorist strongholds within the joint operational area, disrupting criminal activities and degrading operational capabilities. The missions were supported by credible intelligence and involved reconnaissance efforts around Kidandan, Fatika, and Sabuwa, which confirmed the absence of further terrorist activity in the area.

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Kelvin Anek, emphasized the importance of integrating air power with ground operations to effectively neutralize terrorist threats and protect innocent lives, reinforcing security across the North West region.
