NAF Deploys Aerial Surveillance to Rescue Abducted Pupils

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified efforts to secure the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Oriire Local Government Area in Oyo State by deploying aerial surveillance platforms. This operation aims to enhance intelligence gathering and improve situational awareness, thereby strengthening coordinated security efforts for the safe return of the victims.

The initiative follows growing concerns regarding the welfare of the abducted individuals. Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, the Director of Public Relations and Information for NAF, stated that the service continues to provide aerial surveillance support for the ongoing search and rescue operations.

Governor Seyi Makinde disclosed that the NAF promptly deployed these surveillance platforms immediately after the abduction was reported. He commended the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sundai Kelvin Anek, for the swift response and sustained support from NAF.

The governor also appealed to residents for patience and support, assuring them that necessary resources would be deployed to ensure a successful outcome.
