ADC Faction Denies APC Funding Allegations Amid Legal Battle

The Nafiu Bala-led faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has publicly denied allegations that they are being funded by the All Progressives Congress (APC). Bashiru Mohammad, the party's spokesperson, described these claims as false and aimed at undermining their ongoing legal case against the faction led by David Mark.

In an interview with Channel TV, Mohammad emphasized that the party is aware of no external funding and criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for recognizing Mark's faction, which they consider a waste of time. The Bala faction is pursuing legal action to compel INEC to stop recognizing the unapproved faction and to restore leadership in accordance with the party's constitution.

Mohammad reiterated the faction's commitment to ensuring that the legal process is respected to resolve the dispute rather than creating public disturbances.
