Nigerian Naira Gains N1.24 Against Dollar at Official Window

The Nigerian Naira appreciated by N1.24 against the US dollar at the official exchange rate, closing at N487.36 compared to N488.60 the previous day. The local currency also gained against the British pound and Canadian dollar but lost ground against the euro.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) provided foreign exchange data showing these fluctuations. Baabajid Okeowo reported on the currency's performance in the market.
