NAMA Begins Comprehensive Audit of Nigerian Airspace

Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has initiated a comprehensive audit of the country's airspace, starting with the Kano Flight Information Region (FIR). The audit aims to review safety performance, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance across Nigeria's airspace, in preparation for the Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) Certification by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).

The audit will assess Air Traffic Services (ATS), Communication Navigation Surveillance (CNS) facilities, Aeronautical Information Management (AIM), and Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. NAMA's Managing Director, Engr.
