NANS Urges Student Participation in Educational Reforms

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), through its National Director of Inter-Campus Affairs, Alfr Nwuruku, has called for greater involvement of students in the Federal Government's educational reforms. Nwuruku, who has declared his intent to contest for the office of Senate President, emphasized that the Nigerian student community should not remain passive observers of government educational policies.

He stated that students must actively engage in shaping policies that will determine the future of education in Nigeria. Nwuruku highlighted the role of the Senate in representing student interests and urged for a collaborative approach to strengthen educational institutions and promote student welfare.

He also stressed the importance of unity among student associations to enhance their collective voice and influence in policy-making. Nwuruku's commitment to leading the Senate with a focus on legislative functions aims to consolidate the voice of Nigerian students within national discourse.
